International Stakeholder Consultation on Japan Hemp Compliance & Standards
Thursday 12 November 2026, afternoon — House of OMOTESANDO, Tokyo (the JIHE 2026 venue, held on the JIHE set-up day)
A JIHE 2026 community event | Organized by the Asia International Hemp Federation (AIHF) / In collaboration with Asabis Inc. (JIHE 2026)
Japan is entering a new era for industrial hemp and hemp-derived cannabinoids. Regulatory reform, new licensing frameworks and steadily growing industrial and consumer demand are reshaping what is possible here, and large domestic companies are already moving.
As a JIHE 2026 community event held ahead of the expo, we are inviting experts from Japan and around the world to take part in a working consultation on compliance and standards. Participants are asked to contribute expertise and practical recommendations, and the discussion shapes the Japan Hemp Industry Business Readiness White Paper.
