About JIHE
JIHE (Japan International Hemp Expo) is an international exhibition and conference that brings together every part of the hemp industry — from CBD products and hemp agriculture to construction materials, food, fashion, and biotechnology.
JIHE was created by combining two long-running Japanese events — the CBD Journey exhibition and the CannaCon conference — into a single framework with a broader industrial scope and an international outlook. In 2026 the stage is House of OMOTESANDO, a whole-building venue in Omotesando, Tokyo. From the basement exhibition hall to the 1F business lounge, the 2F conference, and the rooftop networking space, each floor offers a different experience.
Since the revised Cannabis Cultivation Act came into force in December 2024, Japan's hemp and CBD market has been moving under its own regulatory framework, with large companies entering the field. JIHE is held to build on that momentum and to open the industry up internationally.

The venue is House of OMOTESANDO in Omotesando, Tokyo. We use the whole building, from the rooftop down to the basement.

A two-day program that uses the whole building floor by floor. Friday 13 November is BUSINESS DAY, centred on business meetings and the conference; Saturday 14 November is COMMUNITY DAY, centred on hands-on experiences, networking, and retail.

From medical and scientific topics to regulation and policy, industry and sustainability, and global markets — experts from Japan and abroad take the stage. Both Japanese- and English-language sessions are held, and every session is made accessible through AI interpretation (subtitles).

Networking
The greatest value of JIHE lies in the connections people make.
On the evening of BUSINESS DAY (Friday 13 November) we hold a networking party across the bar counter in the 2F White Hall and the rooftop terrace. Exhibitors, sponsors, partners, and speakers are all welcome, and visitors may join as well. It is a good place to exchange information about the CBD and hemp industry.

When and where is JIHE 2026 held?
JIHE 2026 will be held on November 13-14, 2026 at House of OMOTESANDO (5-34-8 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo 150-0001, Japan).
Is there an admission fee?
General admission is free with pre-registration. Some programs, such as the networking party, may require additional fees.
How can I become an exhibitor?
You can apply to exhibit through the contact form on our official website. We offer various booth and sponsorship packages to suit your needs.
How can I apply to speak at the conference?
If you'd like to speak at CannaCon, please submit your application through our contact form and select 'Speaker.' We welcome presentations from international experts in the hemp and cannabis industry.
What kind of programs does JIHE offer?
JIHE features exhibitions (CBD Journey & HEMP Journey), conferences (CannaCon), networking events, and hands-on workshops — offering a comprehensive hemp industry experience.
Can international visitors attend?
Yes, JIHE is an international expo. We welcome visitors, exhibitors, and speakers from around the world. Sessions by international speakers cross the language barrier with AI interpretation.
Does JIHE have a track record of past events?
Yes, JIHE evolved from the integration of CBD Journey and CannaCon events. You can view past attendance figures and exhibitor details on our Past Event Reports page.
Do I need a visa invitation letter to attend?
If you need an official invitation letter to support your Japan visa application, the organizer will issue one free of charge as a PDF, usually within 3 business days. Please complete your JIHE 2026 registration first, as the request form asks for your registration ID. This letter is issued solely to support your visa application — the organizer does not cover travel, accommodation, or any other costs, and provides no financial guarantee.
