Somsak Kreechai is the Deputy Director-General of Thailand’s Department of Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine (DTAM/MoPH). He oversees programs that integrate Thai traditional medicine with modern care and expand international collaboration. Recent work includes receiving 2.1 tons of cannabis for government-led medical research, promoting Thailand’s selection to host the Global Wellness Summit 2026 in Phuket, and briefing foreign delegations on Thailand’s integrated rehab and herbal-medicine initiatives.

ソムサック・クリーチャイは、タイ保健省 Thai Traditional and Alternative Medicine局（DTAM）副局長。タイ伝統医療を近代医療と組み合わせる政策・国際連携を推進している。直近では、政府の医療研究用に押収大麻2.1トンの受領、グローバル・ウェルネス・サミット2026（プーケット開催）に向けた発信、各国要人への統合型リハビリ／生薬活用の取り組み説明などを担当している。
