Mariana Larrea A. is a Mexican Regulatory and Cannabis Attorney specializing in life sciences, cannabis, pharmaceutical, corporate/contracts, and consumer protection law. After a decade at leading Mexico City firms, she founded MLA Legal and Consulting Boutique, advising companies through all stages of projects in Mexico and LATAM.

A graduate of UNAM (law degree + business law diploma), Mariana is a frequent speaker at national and international forums and has advised legislators on cannabis policy, including Mexico’s ongoing adult-use framework. Beyond legal practice, she has served as an executive in real-estate development and currently leads investors on sustainable projects in Mérida. She also teaches life-sciences regulation and cannabis topics at institutions such as Tecnológico de Monterrey, Escuela Libre de Derecho, and UNAM.
