Paul Benhaim(ポール・ベンハイム)
Paul Benhaim is the Founder & Chairman of The Hemp Plastic Company, a U.S.-based firm developing more sustainable plastic feedstocks. He also leads The BioSmart Group (global hemp/cannabis consulting), The Happy Clinic (Australia), and Cannabis Psychedelics (mental-health focused).
Previously, Paul founded and served as CEO of Elixinol Global (ASX:EXL), Elixinol LLC, and Hemp Foods Australia. A pioneer with 25+ years in hemp, he has worked across legislation, cultivation, manufacturing, and go-to-market in Europe, North America, and Australasia.
His journey began in the UK with 9bar, one of Europe’s first commercial hemp foods, followed by Hemp Foods Australia (1999), now the Southern Hemisphere’s largest hemp-food maker. He launched Elixinol in 2014 and took Elixinol Global public in 2018, raising AUD $180m and reaching a $600m market cap. Paul has authored 15 books and speaks at major industry events worldwide.
